- I was born in Yorkshire, and came to Australia here as a schoolboy in 1965. Trained originally in medicine (MBBS in 1976) now a minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia, in placement in Centenary Uniting Church, a suburban congregation in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I am married to Karen, and we have four great kids. Among other things, I chair the Uniting Church’s National Working Group on Worship, and I’m writing a PhD on ordination liturgies.
